ACCOMMODATIONS

HOUSING
Disclaimer: Los Angeles is a sprawling metropolitan city consisting of over 4,000 square miles. Links to various hotels and other sites that can assist you to find housing and transportation are provided below, but please be aware that housing and transportation costs are generally much greater in Los Angeles than in other parts of the country. You should be prepared for the possibility that the NEH stipend for this seminar may not entirely cover housing and transportation costs for a five-week stay in Los Angeles.

Every year the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library brings together a number of scholars on short-term and longer-term fellowships. The library has much experience in helping visiting scholars to locate suitable temporary accommodation. Our housing officer, Suzanne Tatian, updates her list of available accommodation on a regular basis. You are welcome to contact her at tatian@humnet.ucla.edu.
